Taiwan International Tradeshows
Taiwan International Tradeshows is a project founded by the International Trade Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs (TITA) and implemented by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), and has become the most important information-hub for Taiwan's international and professional exhibitions. The Taiwan International Tradeshows website is home to around 70 exhibitions. It provides international buyers and exhibitors a one-stop service, which includes exhibition schedule, locations, venue instructions, as well as links to shows hosted by TAITRA and other organizers.

The total usable area of Taiwan's exhibition halls increased by 5.47% in 2024.
In recent years, the global exhibition industry has been steadily shifting its focus toward Asia, forming an important emerging market. Taiwan continues to attract attention under this trend. According to statistics from MEET TAIWAN, the "UFI-recognized B2B exhibition sales area" in Taiwan reached 241,250 square meters in 2022, ranking sixth in the Asia-Pacific region. In terms of the number of exhibitions held, Taiwan hosted a total of 228 exhibitions in 2024. As for exhibition hall infrastructure, the total area of Taiwan's main exhibition venues increased to 195,482 square meters in 2024, compared to 185,350 square meters in 2023, achieving a growth of approximately 5.47%.

Industrial clusters and world-class shows offer more advantages
Taiwan has an excellent transport infrastructure and buyers visiting Taiwan have easy access to industrial clusters around the island. A journey of two hours on the Taiwan High Speed Rail links clusters of ICT and biotech sectors in the north; machine tool, woodworking machinery, bicycle, and hand tools industries in central; and auto parts, plastics processing machinery, optoelectronics, yacht making, and fastener manufacturing factories in the south.

Taiwan's experienced and efficient service teams have attracted many international exhibitions to the island. The island is already home to major events such as COMPUTEX TAIPEI and TAIPEI CYCLE, both ranked first in Asia and the second largest trade shows in the world for their respective industries. In addition, a number of Asian and world-leading expos were held in Taiwan, including TIMTOS, Food Taipei, Taipei AMPA, Fastener Taiwan, Bio Asia Taiwan, SEMICON Taiwan, Smart City & IoT, Secutech and Taiwan Healthcare + Expo. These trade shows provide the best platform for trading and sourcing business opportunities, attracting more than 110,000 international buyers to visit.

Taiwan is actively developing international-standard exhibition and convention venues, including the Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall 1, Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1 & 2, Taipei International Convention Center, Kaohsiung Exhibition Center, ICC Tainan and Messe Taoyuan. Since the "Kaohsiung Exhibition Center" opened in April 2014, Taiwan has established a dual-core exhibition and convention network in the north and south. The "Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 2" opened in March 2019, bringing the combined capacity of Hall 1 and Hall 2 to approximately 5,000 standard exhibition booths along with various functional conference spaces. In April 2022, "ICC Tainan" opened, adding 600 standard exhibition booths to the southern region. The "Messe Taoyuan", which opened in October 2024, leverages Taoyuan’s unique urban culture and its strategic role as an international air transport hub, positioning itself as a new exhibition and convention hub in the Asia-Pacific region. Additionally, the planned "Taichung International Convention Center" is expected to further enhance Taiwan’s exhibition and convention capabilities, ushering the industry into a new era.

Taiwan is renowned for the vibrant development of its 3C (Computers, Communications, and Consumer Electronics) industry and has successfully applied high-end technologies to exhibition and convention activities. These include the use of mobile apps, QR codes, 5G, RFID, free Wi-Fi, and the implementation of virtual and augmented reality-based exhibitions. These advanced and convenient services, coupled with Taiwan's friendly and efficient professional support, leave a lasting impression on international business travelers and exhibition attendees.

There are infinite business opportunities for professional buyers and exhibitors to explore!
