The 2025 Taipei International Electronics Show (TAITRONICS) and the Taiwan International AIoT Show (AIoT Taiwan), co-organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and the Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (TEEMA), successfully concluded yesterday, October 24.
This year’s exhibition featured 250 leading domestic and international exhibitors occupying 460 booths. It showcased a wide range of technologies, including advanced instruments and meters, optoelectronics and display technology, electronic components and parts, AI applications, and next-generation communication solutions. The event attracted 8,000 professional visitors and buyers from 60 countries, with the top five buyer nations being Japan, the United States, India, South Korea, and Singapore—underscoring the show’s status as a premier global sourcing platform for innovative solutions.
Throughout the three-day exhibition, business interactions were vibrant across the show floor, and exhibitors reported fruitful outcomes. Delta Electronics showcased its HVAC energy efficiency management systems and high-performance servo motors, attracting strong interest from both local and international buyers, and announced plans to expand its participation next year. TECO Electric & Machinery noted successful connections with several high-potential global buyers, praising the event for attracting professional and well-targeted visitors. MiTAC Information Technology Corp. presented its theme, “AI + Smart Future,” highlighting its AI ecosystem development and digital transformation strategies, which garnered significant attention from buyers. Meanwhile, Shih-Jen Electronic reported excellent exhibition results and has already registered early for the 2026 edition, demonstrating strong confidence in the event.
Several themed pavilions also stood out brightly this year. The Industrial Development Administration (IDA) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs showcased a variety of innovative applications, including TWN Broadband’s 5G Smart Firefighting Assistance System, which helps reduce emergency response times and enhance safety, and HTC’s XR Digital Broadway Theater, which combines 5G and VR technologies to demonstrate the integration of technological innovation into both public safety and cultural creativity. The Big Bang Startups Zone featured 27 startup teams from 16 countries, presenting technologies such as visual sensing solutions, multilingual AI platforms, and electrochromic display technologies. Many startups reported highly productive interactions with Asian buyers during the event, achieving excellent results.
Beyond the exhibits, the event also featured a series of dynamic concurrent programs. The forum “Space・Edge・Robotics: Shaping Tomorrow” brought together executives from Qualcomm, AWS, the Foxconn Research Institute, and Advantech to share forward-looking insights, attracting over 200 industry professionals.
The Demo Pitch and “AI in Action” Salon events brought together nearly 70 venture capitalists, international buyers, and industry professionals, fostering collaboration and investment opportunities. Meanwhile, the one-on-one Procurement Meetings hosted 46 international buyers from 20 countries, facilitating 174 business matchmaking sessions and generating promising commercial prospects.
International media attending the event expressed strong confidence in Taiwan’s innovation capabilities within the electrical, electronics, and AIoT industries. A journalist from the United States highlighted Taiwan’s impressive advancements in advanced technology applications and emphasized its competitive advantages in the global tech sector. An Israeli journalist praised Taiwan’s well-recognized technological expertise and shared firsthand impressions of the country’s maturity and competitiveness in product innovation, system integration, and international market expansion, expressing optimism for future cooperation and exchanges.
The 2025 editions of TAITRONICS and AIoT Taiwan not only demonstrated Taiwan’s robust innovation capabilities but also reflected global industry trends toward intelligence, sustainability, and cross-domain integration. These exhibitions highlighted Taiwan’s strong foundation in technological research and development, industrial synergy, and international collaboration.
