The Taipei Aerospace & Defense Technology Exhibition 2025 (TADTE 2025) will take place from September 18 to 20 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1, reaching its largest scale to date. Organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), this year’s edition will feature over 400 exhibitors from 14 countries, including the U.S., France, and Germany, across more than 1,400 booths. The exhibition will showcase frontier advancements in defense technologies, aerospace systems, unmanned platforms, and space innovations.
TADTE 2025 comes at a time of intensified global focus on defense autonomy and next-generation military capabilities. Governments worldwide are accelerating R&D efforts in key areas such as AI, unmanned systems, LEO satellite communications, and digital twin technologies. Supported by national policies and investment, Taiwan is actively advancing capabilities in surveillance drones, micro UAVs, shipborne unmanned systems, and integrated AI applications across military and dual-use sectors.
This year’s show will welcome leading global defense and aerospace companies, including Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, BAE Systems, L3Harris, and Airbus, alongside major Taiwanese manufacturers such as AIDC, Thunder Tiger, CIRC, Compal, and UMT. In addition, Taiwan’s core national defense institutions and strategic partners will be gathered under one roof , including the Ministry of National Defense, Taiwan Space Agency, Taiwan Aerospace Industry Association, TW-DIDA, Asia UAV AI Innovation Application R&D Center, and the American Institute in Taiwan. Their presence provides professionals with direct access to policy insight, R&D priorities, and opportunities for collaboration within Taiwan’s rapidly evolving defense and space sectors.
In line with Taiwan’s growing investment in maritime defense autonomy, key domestic shipbuilders such as Lungteh, Jong Shyn, and CSBC will unveil new technologies in unmanned surface vessels and naval platforms. These efforts reflect broader trends in the Asia-Pacific region, where unmanned innovation and AI integration are driving transformation across the defense and aerospace landscape.
The event will also feature international forums, product launches, procurement matchmaking, and guided tours, providing a platform for industry leaders and experts to exchange insights on global market trends, defense readiness, and resilient supply chain development.
