Originality and Sustainability Take Center Stage at DG Taiwan 2024

Taipei, April 18, 2024: The “Designed Giftionery Taiwan (DG Taiwan 2024),” spotlighting on original design and sustainable thinking, will be held on April 18 - 21, 2024 at TWTC Hall 1. The trade show has been completely re-shuffled, branded with a new theme “Be yourself, Be stylish!”, and further features three characteristics: “Design & Novelty,” “Customized,” and “Eco-friendly.”

DG Taiwan 2024 comes with an array of exciting events, such as DG Salon, DG Keynote, DiscoverGem Hunter, IP Seminars, Family-friendly DIY activities, Taiwan illustration tournament, DG charity postcards, and more. These events cover the latest design trends and sustainable thinking, meanwhile, facilitate the interaction between visitors and exhibitors. A unique event among highlights, “Creator 50 Lab” serves as a cradle for content creators. Sixty-five emerging content creators and startups around the world join this specialized zone to present their creativity in such fields as original characters, illustrations, animation, and typography.

Another new highlight at DG Taiwan 2024, “DesiGn Select” area, incorporates the trendy concept of a Select Shop and brings together nine quality brands, providing attendees with a fresh experience of the enchanting charm of original design through a well-designed atmosphere and carefully selected products. What’s more, DG Taiwan 2024 introduces the “DG Drop By” event, which collaborates with Taiwan’s distinctive gift and stationery stores. Visitors may enjoy exclusive, time-limited deals or discounts at certain partner stores.

Beyond that, the Intellectual Property Office of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Taiwan, also builds “Taiwan Patent GO” gallery to promote the dynamics and value of the patents from Taiwan.

The revamped DG Taiwan 2024 gathers 331 exhibitors from home and abroad, using a total of 487 booths. Not only has the exhibition scale grown by more than 30% compared to 2023, but also, it has already attracted over 10,000 visitors from 39 countries/regions registered to participate in the show.

This year’s DG Taiwan accommodates exhibiting companies from 12 countries/regions, including Belize, Guatemala, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kingdom of Eswatini, Malaysia, Nepal, Paraguay, South Korea, and Taiwan. Latin American Pavilion and the Eswatini Pavilion are set up to showcase local handmade crafts and exotic products.

The event runs from April 18 to 21, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm daily. Registered visitors may access the showground directly by presenting the admission QR code generated upon registration completed. General public who has completed online registration by noon on April 15 also enjoy free admission. Children under the age of 12 will be allowed to enter the venue on April 20 and 21 only.
