Booth Application is Now Open! Energy Taiwan 2022 to Push for Net-Zero Transition A New Edition with ‘Emerging Power’ and ‘Net Zero’
The most iconic renewable energy exhibition in Taiwan co-hosted by TAITRA and SEMI – Energy Taiwan will be held at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1 (TaiNEX 1), October 19-21 this year. In response to international efforts in the fight against global warming and the pursuit of net zero carbon emissions, Energy Taiwan 2022 has decided to take itself up yet another level by adding two more new shows ‘Emerging Power Taiwan’ and ‘Net-Zero Taiwan’ to its already star-studded exhibition that highlights solar photovoltaics, wind energy, smart energy storage, and other major renewable solutions, making it a must-visit renewable energy business and trade exchange platform in Taiwan.
Energy Taiwan is now open for booth application, and those who sign up before May 31 will enjoy the early-bird discount. So far, an impressive 65% growth in booth number compared with the same period last year has been reported. You are more than welcome to join us at Energy Taiwan 2022. Let’s make headway ushering in sustainable business opportunities.
Upgraded and Updated: Energy Taiwan Welcomes Two New Shows Focusing on Net-Zero Transition
To make energy transition possible and achieve the ultimate goal of zero carbon emissions by 2050, the use of renewables is the key. With more renewable energy infrastructure and equipment installations coming in place in the world, it still takes a sophisticated energy storage system that adjusts power supply demand in line with peak hours, thereby able to respond to the intermittent nature of renewable power supply, and manage power consumption accurately.
Renewables plus smart storage will definitely take us one step closer towards net-zero. ‘PV Taiwan’, ‘Wind Energy Taiwan’, and ‘Smart Storage Taiwan’ held during the show have all made their names and become important energy industry platforms over the years. To showcase the diverse mix of renewable energy, Energy Taiwan proudly presents a new addition to the family this year – Emerging Power Taiwan, bringing equipment manufacturers, service providers and construction companies in hydrogen power, small hydropower, tidal energy, geothermal energy and biomass energy together to promote exchanges and cooperation for various renewable energy sectors.
On the other hand, the world continues to see the impacts of climate change deteriorating. According to the report of UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), rising temperatures are likely leading to extinctions of species, ecosystem collapse, and decline in food production, and it’s ‘now or never’ for any carbon neutrality actions. To reflect this imminent challenge, another new show – Net Zero Taiwan is launched, showcasing carbon reduction and carbon negative technologies, as well as solutions in relation to green manufacturing, green finance, green power procurement, and circular economy. It is hoped to accelerate the transformation of traditional manufacturing industries, making them a part of the green supply chain, so as to strengthen Taiwan’s competitive edge in the world, and better prepared for the coming international carbon tariffs and other control measures.
