The 2022 Taipei AMPA show will bring in new features to a hybrid setting, creating one of the largest online-offline shows in the automotive industry. Buyers and exhibitors alike will have the opportunity for a unique experience while enjoying the regular elements of a trade show. Held from April 20 to 23 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1, 2022 Taipei AMPA will feature 600 exhibitors and 1,200 booths, while the AMPA DigitalGo platform will be available from April 11 to 24 with 150 exhibitors online.
All participants look to capitalize on the recovery of the automotive industry, which saw a net export value of US$8 billion in Taiwan, a 14% increase in 2021. Much of this growth is due to the high demand for parts from China, Mexico, and Germany, with each nation contributing nearly US$400 million in trade value. Brake pad producer Nan Hoang, car seat and seat belt products from Red Wood Enterprise, piston ring provider C.T.I. Traffic, and Thailand’s national petroleum corporation PTT Oil will headline the parts and accessories exhibit.
With the world promoting green energy, IEK statistics showed that electric vehicle sales rose nearly 90% in 2021, and with many nations signing agreements at COP26 to go electric by 2040, Taipei AMPA will continue to feature electric vehicles and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to keep up with the ongoing movement. CUB Elecparts, Tesla production line participants Ta Ya Electric Wire and Cable, K.S. Terminals, and Phihong Technology are just a few of the featured exhibitors as the electric vehicle and green energy movement begins in the automotive industry.
Scheduled to be held with Taipei AMPA, AMPA DigitalGo will have over 150 exhibitors, and much of the latest automobile and motorcycle parts, cyclist gear, and other products on display. Visitors can register for Taipei AMPA, and chat with exhibitors such as Yee Jee Technology, DMG, and first-time exhibitor Microjet Technology, whom will bring the newest GPS and car sensor display with the world’s lightest air quality monitor to AMPA DigitalGo, combining dashboard display with the latest pandemic prevention monitoring system.
Registration is currently open, and visitors can sign up to gain access to Taipei AMPA and AMPA DigitalGo services. For more information on the events, please visit the Taipei AMPA website (https://www.taipeiampa.com.tw/en/).
